The International Scientific Conference Sinteza 2021 was held for the eighth time on Jun 25th, 2021. The traditional Synthesis conference was dedicated to studying and applying information technologies. Due to the pandemic caused by the Covid-19 Coronavirus, the conference was held virtually (online) for the second time. Microsoft Teams Live Event software was used to manage the conference.
Introductory speakers at the conference were Milan Gospić (Country manager at Microsoft Serbia), Vladimir Reković, PhD (CERN, Particle Physics Researcher) and Miroslav Popović, PhD (Singidunum University, PhD UC Berkeley).
The experiences we have gained at the last year’s conference were of precious value and were extremely useful for this year’s conference – not only for conference organizers, but also for session moderators, speakers, and all the participants.
After the plenary session, the conference had seven parallel sessions:
There were a total of 65 papers submitted for the conference, and after the technical, linguistic, peer and iThenticate reviews, 55 papers were accepted for the presentation at the conference. The working language of the conference was English, and all presented papers are classified as papers from the international scientific conference of category M33. The conference is supported by the Ministry of Science, Education and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.
We thank all the participants of the conference, especially the introductory speakers, authors and co-authors of the papers, reviewers of the papers, as well as all the guests. We thank the members of the Scientific and Organizing Committee who contributed to the successful realization of the conference this year as well.
